Everyday is a school day with Acies
Working in conjunction with Salford RC Diocese, quantity surveyors SP Projects, Bate and Taylor architects and Wates building and construction company, the group provided both civil and structural engineering support for the 20,000 sq ft scheme.

The design of the purpose built school includes internal and external teaching areas, playground facilities with hard and soft landscaping, associated car parking and the construction of new and altered vehicular access.

The kitchen and main hall will also be available for use by the local community for sporting events, and meeting and seminar amenities.
Karl Hill, partner at Acies commented: “The demolition of the existing schools and erection of an amalgamated school was a complex process. The new St Edmunds School provides both local children and the local community with a state-of-the art building and facilities which will make the school a better place to learn and teach.”
