Hat trick for Acies

Acies has recently been appointed by fund manager, Hermes Real Estate to provide vital design and management solutions at Holford Industrial Estate in Birmingham.

The group will provide architectural design, project management and structural planning services for the refurbishment of a 100,000 sq ft industrial warehouse. Work on the scheme will commence in August, and it is due for completion in December 2008.

Jeremy Powell, senior partner at Acies, commented; “We have a long standing relationship with Hermes Real Estate, and this new appointment is testament to the quality of service we strive to provide.”

Acies recently underwent a re-brand to reflect the continued growth of the business, originally providing project management, civil and structural engineering and CDM Co-ordination expertise, Acies expanded its services this year by setting up an Architecture company specialising in retail and commercial schemes. The group also offers building surveying services throughout the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

“In the current market, it is essential to look at cost saving while not compromising on quality, experience or expertise. As a multi-disciplinary company, we offer clients the benefit of dealing with one dedicated team across a variety of services.” Added Jeremy.

Founded in January 2004, Acies has increased its turnover to nearly £3 million in less than four years. This growth has seen the business expand its premises in Chester and Edinburgh, and open an additional office in Manchester, more than doubling its workforce in the process .
